Life can be tough for stray dogs who may find it challenging to trust others. Being on the streets can make them feel anxious and scared, especially when people are around. This is heart-breaking as every animal deserves love and care.

Thankfully, there exist organizations brimming with compassionate individuals who are devoted to saving stray and forsaken animals that require affection and attention. Amber, a tiny pup, was dealt a tough hand by fate. Her owner’s passing left her devastated and deserted. For months on end, Amber was left all alone in the desolate home. Consequently, it is not surprising that Amber had significant trust issues when Howl of a Dog came to her rescue.

The rescue team received a call about a dog living in an abandoned house’s yard, and they immediately responded. However, Amber was too scared to come near them. The Howl of a Dog rescuers were determined to rescue her and did not give up easily. After some time, they succeeded in bringing the 3-year-old dog into the house and safely apprehended her.

When Amber was discovered, her condition was very concerning. The presence of ticks all over her fur was obvious, and she was also dealing with an illness called Babesiosis. Fortunately, Amber was fortunate enough to be in the care of capable individuals who provided her with the necessary medical attention.
